The car looks stunning in white with its tarmac Dymags bolted on. Metro 6R4 Online News wishes them the best of luck with the car.Final results and Simon Chapman finished in 16th place and third in class on the weekends Manx National Rally.Chapman suffered a high speed 360 degree spin and was lucky not to hit anything. After stage 18 he told the site it was the best he has EVER driven the car.Simon Chapman reported that he bent a steering arm last night after hitting a kerb. He then suffered a 4 point turn on parville hairpin, but the ICM team have the car all sorted now. He took the car out in the dark at the weekend to set up the lights for the event. The event was won by Peter Lloyd / Martin Henry in the Subaru S14.Two 6R4 drivers have confirmed that they will be back in Jersey come October.Mark Jasper and Simon Chapman who competed for the first time last year will be back to battle on the island. After an excellent 4th place on the recent Horiba D Isis Stages the pairing will be looking to finish higher on this event.30/4/12HALL TESTS 6R4 FOR NEW SEASON CHAMPIONSHIPMiddlesborough driver Ken Hall has been testing his pride and joy on home turf before his 2012 racing season kicks off at Knockhill next week!Hall tested the V-Tec Motorsport MG Metro 6R4 at Croft Circuit last week at their Media Day with his team in preparation for the coming season. Darlington and District Motorclub's Northern Saloon and Sports Car Championship will once again see him and the 6R4 battling to achieve 1st in class for the second season running.The 6R4, along with Mk2 Escorts, Mini's and BTCC Cars all turned up to test and show the Media whats instore for the season. Cars seemed as eager as drivers to get revving, judging by the atmosphere in the pitlane! The car was fitted with the new paddleshift set up from ICM and proved to be a winner on the car, the pairing won the event by 4 seconds and this bodes well for future events.Rob Lowe finished in 4th place in his car and Simon Chapman / Tony Graham another Metro from the ICM stable to be fitted with the paddleshift system finished a creditable 5th place.
